Ocean Spray Cranberry goodies

Christmas and cranberries go together. Cranberries have been traditionally served for winter meals for centuries. Cranberry sauce is a vital part of a Christmas meal.
I will be making a zesty cranberry sauce with orange juice and spices, but our Christmas table will also have a jar of Ocean Spray's Cranberry Sauce.
Ocean Spray is well-known for its extensive range of cranberry products. I often buy their cranberry juice and Craisins.

Ocean Spray Whole Cranberry Sauce would be a lovely addition to any festive table. It goes perfectly with the roast turkey, goose or duck. It is sweet and tangy, with whole berries for the full on experience. It has a chunkier texture, but spreads nicely.

But don't just serve it at Christmas time, as it could be part of a diverse menu any time of the year. How about a turkey burger with a generous helping of whole cranberry sauce?! Absolutely delicious.

If you prefer a smooth variety, there's of course an Ocean Spray Smooth Cranberry Sauce which is great for adding to a festive gravy.
As for Ocean Spray cranberry juice drink, consume it icy cold straight from the fridge or serve it hot, mulled with spices. The choice is yours.

Will you be making your own cranberry sauce, buying a jar or two or serving both like me?

If you visit Ocean Spray site, they have a variety of excellent recipes using cranberries - from cocktails and mocktails to roasts and baking. If you like the sight of these lush mince pies with cranberries, check the recipe out on their site.

  1. I really like Cranberries, especially as Craisins, where I use the dried fruits in cookies. Cranberry juice is delicious and a great way to naturally help water infections. Our daughter could not eat Christmas dinner (or roast Chicken) without a big dollop of chunky Cranberry sauce. Sammie.
