26.04: Eddie loves this old bridge across the shallow ravine. He calls it an old-fashioned bridge, no idea why, it's not that old-fashioned, is it?
27.04: Apples are in blossom all over the town, like clouds of white and pink. This bunch is from a wild apple tree on the way to school.
28.04: Eddie is getting so good with Lego. He can read the instructions and build Lego sets from age 6+. And he's not even 5 yet. Clever clogs.
29.04: On Wednesday I cooked a Russian recipe of potato vareniki (or dumplings).
30.04: Testing a new sauce from the packet - cooking chicken Biryani. Pretty hot, but nice with a glass of beer.
01.05: This is an unknown (to me, a botany-ignoramus) plant in our garden. Most of the year, it's just thing branches with a bit of greenery, it never bears any fruit, but when it is in blossom, it is very pretty.
02.05: Last Saturday Eddie and I spent a lot of time, trying to buy a pair of trainers. For some silly reason all the shoe shops we visited didn't have shoes in his size, and if they had them, they were just plain boring black ones. Eddie set his heart on either pirate or dinosaur shoes. After a lot of hassle we had to order a pair, and today we could finally pick them up from the store. They sparkle as he runs, and all in all we have one happy boy (and one grumpy Mum as I do begrudge the price).
Love that apple blossom Galina! It's just lovely. Those Geox trainers are cool. How cute does Eddie look in that pic x
ReplyDeleteThank you Jo! Eddie loves his new trainers, he would sleep wearing them, given a chance. :)
DeleteLove the bridge shot, he looks very happy! The apple blossom is beautiful x
ReplyDeleteThank you Sara! The petals remind me of the snow, when they float down in the wind
Deletethe bridge is kinda old fashioned compared to the contrite and metal railings in the towns
ReplyDeleteThat's a good point! :)
DeleteWhat a great first picture, it looks like a really fun walk x #project365
