Pudina Chai is a minty and spiced Indian Darjeeling masala chai. You will find Assam black tea, ginger, peppermint, Darjeeling black tea, cardamom and lemongrass among its ingredients. It's refreshing and warming at the same time. Pudina means mint in hindi and urdu. I haven't tried mint in a chai before.

Kung Flu Fighter (love the name) is a cold weather brew, which consists of eucalyptus leaves, aniseed, lemongrass, chilli, echinacea and peppermint. This light-coloured brew does clear the sinuses all right, and tastes more like a medicinal drink than a tea. It is better with a little bit of honey. Ideal for anyone who nurses a cold.

This is my favourite new tea from the selection. It has a beautiful aroma of almond essence and a lovely taste. If you love adding tea to baking (e.g. Earl Grey loaf etc), this might be a great ingredient for bakes and cakes. The colour is very autumnal: russet rich, reminding of the baby chestnuts peeled out of their shells.

And finally - all chai lovers rejoice: a Spiced Pumpkin Pie chai is back! It's a beautiful blend of Ceylon black tea with pieces of carrot, Halloween sprinkles (sugar, rice flour, peanut oil, potato starch etc) as well as spices like cinnamon, ginger, cloves and vanilla.

It is delicious on its own, and with a cupcake...

... and even more luxurious as chai latte.
