A postcard from Ghana

You might have seen tweets with hashtags #teamhonk and #goodwork on Twitter and were wondering what it is all about.
TeamHonk consists of three inspiring bloggers (Annie from Mammasaurus, Penny from Alexander Residence and Tanya from Mummy Barrow) who are visiting Ghana with Comic Relief which celebrates the 25th anniversary this year.
I asked the girls to send me an ecard, and here it is today, a truly beautiful card
"Dear Galina

Children at the nursery at the Virtuous Women's bakery chasing bubbles blown by Davina. Such an inspiring place. Women baking bread to sell, children gaining an amazing nursery education, all in one place.

Love Penny"
This photo is one of many taken by the girls during the trip, to see more beautiful photos, please visit Annie's blog post.

This is a digital postcard sent from TeamHonk (Annie from Mammasaurus; Penny from Alexander Residence; Tanya from Mummy Barrow) during their travels with Comic Relief in Ghana celebrating #goodwork.

For the past 25 years the money raised through Red Nose Day has been changing the lives of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa. Let’s Keep Up the Good Work. Find out how at rednoseday.com

  1. You know I expected it to be emotionally draining for the ladies to go over there and see people live in slums. But the pictures show for themselves how positive the money has made such changes - and look at how inspiring the people who live there are.

  2. I totally agree with you. I'm sure they've seen enough depressing stuff, but the photos show beautiful people who appreciate the changes. Very humbling and uplifting.

  3. I've been browsing online more than 3 hours as of late, but I by no means discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours. It's pretty value enough for
me. In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content as you
probably did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.
