I have never imagined in a million years that my blog would be visited and read by people from all over the world, when I started it four years ago, with only my family and close friends in mind. I wanted to share some milestones of my then newborn son Eddie. As my little man has grown considerably since those days, my blog has expanded as well, and in a way acquired a life of its own.
It never ceases to amaze me when I see the traffic widget on the side and the visitors from the most faraway places who read this post or that. Some old posts get resurfaced, and you never know how on earth did these people come across my blog. Yet I am thrilled and delighted.
To celebrate my 4th blogversary this month, I am running a giveaway and offering as a giveaway those products which I enjoy myself. I have bought all the gifts myself, this is not a sponsored giveaway.
For four days I will reveal a new addition to the total prize.
Day 1:
Today's offering is what I talk about on my blog the most - tea and chocolate.
The winner will receive 3 Lindt Excellence chocolate bars in 90% cacao/dark supreme; dark/a touch of sea salt and dark/Mint Intense + a selection of miniature Green & Black's chocolate bars + a box of Duchy Originals Earl Grey tea (see the selection below).
Day 2:
Adding a selection of beauty products to the prize haul: two nail polishes - Maybelline Color Show in Show Me The Green & Nailberry in Groseille (very Christmasy); James Read Sleep Mask Tan (25ml); Lancome Absolue Precious Cells advanced regenerating and replesnihsing cream SPF 15 (5ml) and a miniature edition of Lancome La Vie est Belle eau de parfum.
Question for day 2 is now in Rafflecopter.
Day 3:
as my boys are forever present in my blog posts, it is only natural that some of the goodies added to the prize will be kids-related. The winner will receive The Very Hungry Caterpillar pull-up pop-up book and wall stickers; My Nick Jr crayon set; Spongebob Squarepants character toy (I think it is Patrick); Dora the explorer backpack tag and a couple of cards.
Day 4:
Books are my sanity-saver, and when I'm not blogging in my spare time, I read. I'm adding 3 books to the prize total: Noah's Ark by Barbara Trapido; You by Joanna Briscoe and The Purveyor of Enchantment by Marika Cobbold. They all were well reviewed and have good endorsements.
T&Cs:
The giveaway will commence today at midnight.
To be in with a chance of winning please use a Rafflecopter widget. I know many compers don't like it, but personally I think it's the most fair way of choosing a winner.
I will offer a choice of options to enter, to suit all tastes: if you like Twitter, tweet to your heart's content; if you enjoy commenting on blog posts, please do that. Don't feel like you have to do all of them.
You will need to answer at least one question to be entered in the draw. There will be 4 different questions (a new one appearing each day).If you don't fancy one of the prizes, just answer the question for those days you want the prize for.
The giveaway will run for two weeks, so if you missed the first day, you can enter later, as long as you do a separate comment, and not all four answers together.
Once the winner is chosen, I will check if they answered one of four questions. If the first winner has answered all four questions, they will receive all four prizes. If they answered, let's say two, they will receive two prizes, and then the next winner will be selected, and like that, until all prizes are gone.
The giveaway is open to the UK residents only.
I will contact the winner soon after the giveaway is closed, you will have 28 days to reply, if you don't reply within 28 days, a new winner will be selected.
Good luck!
