Belo & Me lunch bag

"Mama, can I put my Lego men in this bag?
- Yes, as long as they don't end up in a fruit salad"

There is a wide choice of lunch bags for younger kids, less so for grown-ups or teens who are too embarrassed to carry a Moshi monster or Spiderman lunch bag. Belo & Me have picked on this lack of lunch bags for grown-ups and came up with a stylish and very much affordable range suitable for both children and adults.
The sturdy bags are made of environmentally friendly jute, which is bio-degradable and recyclable.
The designs vary to appeal to different ages and tastes: there are cute cartoon characters, cupcakes, butterflies, stylish fonts etc.

I wanted something neutral, which all of us could use in the family so I opted for a simple blue bag with words "Lunch Bag" and hearts on it.

The bag is very capacious: you can easily slip in a small container with salad or a sandwich in, with a small bottle of water, a piece of fruit and a pot of yogurt and still have some space left, perhaps for a chocolate treat? Would it be a naughty KitKat or a healthy granola bar?

These bags will make a lovely birthday gift container. Typical hampers or sets of jams or chutneys might cost an arm and a leg, but if you buy them separately and present in this stylish bag, they will look fab and cost less.
My only concern is that there is no zip or clasp of any kind, and knowing my guys, I wouldn't entrust them to keep their lunch inside the bag and not scattered all over the place.
It would suit someone a bit more sensible and less energetic.

Disclosure: I received a lunch bag for the purposes of reviewing. All opinions are mine.
