Lego Scooby Doo: Mummy Museum Mystery
We love Lego, and we love Scooby Doo. Combine two ingredients, and our happiness level is palpable. We have seen photos on Instagram of the other bloggers posting their new Lego Scooby Doo sets recieved for reviewing, and have been "green with envy". Alas, we are not on a Lego PR radar, and have spent a not so small fortune on Lego in the past few years. But as Eddie is a big fan of Lego, and is very enthusiastic about playing with his Lego people, I always tell myself, it's money well spent (well, you know what I mean).
Having stopped in The Entertainer yesterday, we couldn't resist buying a new Lego set - Scooby Doo Mummy Museum Mystery. This small set includes 3 cute characters: Scooby Doo, Shaggy and a Mummy.
Eddie has built it on his own, with a teeny-weeny help from me. I really love it, how well he understands the instructions. And then when he starts to play, it is like a theatre of one. His pretend play is a pleasure to watch. I might be a biased Mummy, but he really makes me smile.
The spooky museum is a creepy place. If you feel hungry - and Scooby Doo and Shaggy are usually are - and reach for a burger at the back of the museum door, the golden sarcophagus opens.
If you oped the secret door in the stairs, you will find the hidden treasure.
All in all, a pretty cool toy set.
This is the least expensive Scooby Doo set (at £11.99) from the new Lego range. It would be lovely to collect all characters, like Wilma, Daphne and Fred, but we'll just have to wait until we see them on offer.
Are your little or not so little people fans of Lego?
