I love London jigsaw puzzles from Ravensburger

When you love jigsaw puzzles, you want to spread the jigsaw love and introduce new people to this excellent (and addictive, like in my case) hobby. A 1000-piece puzzle could be a bit intimidating for beginners as well as time-consuming. A smaller size puzzle could be an answer to the problem.
I Love London is a new series of Ravensburger puzzles. These sleek boxed puzzles consist of 170 pieces, a very manageable project even for a novice.
Eddie and I assembled two puzzles in less than an hour, and that was with breaks and chat non-stop.

These two puzzles are colourful, bright and detailed. The images of London places of interest are easily identifiable, and the little signs make it even easier to find the pieces while working on a jigsaw.
Both puzzles measure 15.3x36.2cm when complete, they are compact and remind me of the huge postcards you find around London's places of interest.

I love London Bobby 170pc jigsaw puzzle is built like a scrapbook layout. It focuses on the iconic image of a London policeman or Bobby. Around the edges there are snaps of the popular tourist destinations like the Tower Bridge, The Shard, Westminster Bridge, Big Ben and the Natural History Museum. A black cab is another London's icon which found its place on the puzzle.

I love London Guardsman 170pc jigsaw puzzle is another collage of images. This puzzle is built around the figure of a Guardsman as you would meet at Buckhingham Palace. The scenic images around him are of The London Eye, The Gherkin, St Paul's Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. There is also a red phone booth and a tube train.

Both puzzles were a doddle to complete. For my son Eddie this was the next step from his 100-150pc puzzles. I'm sure soon enough he'll want to tackle 1000pc sets.

These jigsaw puzzles from Ravensburger will make lovely gifts. At £4.99 they will be great souvenirs to take back home from London (or visit to the UK). I think they will do well, sold at the main London attractions and places of interest, as they are compact enough to be taken in the hand luggage.

Disclosure: I received two puzzles for the purposes of testing and reviewing. All opinions are mine.
